Before college, Mothibi took a gap year to give back in South Africa—mentoring youth and coaching football in Tembisa. His efforts earned him national recognition as “Young Person of the Year” by Metro FM

At Dartmouth, he was a standout on the Men’s Soccer team and contributed significantly to the academic community. He served as a teaching assistant for economics, co-founded the Sadie Alexander Association, and earned the prestigious Class of 1950 Award for community service

We are immensely proud of Mothibi, who graduated with honours in Economics and Environmental Sciences. His story is a testament to academic ambition, athletic discipline, and social impact
